Inter Milan scored 89 goals and conceded only 35 to win the Scudetto by 11 points over Napoli, with Roma (3rd) and surprise package Como (4th, their best-ever finish) also securing European football. Hellas Verona and newly promoted Pisa were relegated.

Juventus finished 6th, missing the Champions League places, a result that accelerated a summer of change in Turin ahead of 2026/27.

What to expect in 2026/27?

Allegri arrives at Napoli, big-money strikers land at Milan and Napoli, and Inter back Chivu to keep the Scudetto.

Napoli have appointed Massimiliano Allegri on a contract through June 2029 and signed Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United for around €44m to lead the attack, alongside goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic. AC Milan moved for Goncalo Ramos from PSG for over €70m and added defender Mario Gila from Lazio.

Inter Milan have chosen continuity, extending Cristian Chivu's contract to 2028 after Denzel Dumfries left for Real Madrid, while early markets list Inter as favourites ahead of Juventus, Milan, Napoli and Roma.
