MatchPulse
Our Story

Football Runs On Vibes.
We Run On Data.

MatchPulse exists because most football statistics live behind paywalls, buried in spreadsheets, or reduced to a gut feeling dressed up as expertise. We built something different: a platform where every model is documented, every result is published, and every claim can be checked against real numbers.

What Makes Us Different

⚖️

Radical Transparency

Most prediction platforms show you their best week and let the rest quietly disappear. We don't. Every pick every Game State engine has ever made — win or loss — is published on our Track Record page, permanently, updated daily since 1 July 2026. Nothing is edited after the fact. Nothing is removed because it lost. If a signal stops working, you'll see it stop working, in real numbers, before we ever have to tell you.

17 Narrow Engines, Not One Black Box

Most platforms hand you a single model and ask it to predict everything at once — Over/Under, BTTS, corners, cards — with the same blunt logic for every scenario. We built the opposite. Game State is a suite of 17 purpose-built engines, each trained on one specific situation. One only watches matches where a strong home favourite falls behind. Another only wakes up when a game is still scoreless past the 20th minute. Narrow, well-tested models beat broad guesses.

What We Offer

Built On Real Mathematics, Not Vibes

Every statistic on MatchPulse is calculated by combining four independent mathematical models rather than a single formula guessing in isolation. Each one looks at the data from a different angle — long-term quality, score correlation, recent form, and league strength — and the disagreement between them is often as informative as their agreement.

P

Basic Poisson

Full-season goal averages, the statistical baseline every other model corrects against.

DC

Dixon-Coles

Corrects for score correlation — far more accurate in low-scoring, tightly contested matches.

W

Weighted Form

Recent matches count more than old ones — a team's current form, not its full-season average.

N

League-Normalised

Attack and defence measured against the league's own average, removing bias between divisions.
